cider vinegar

this is something my fiance read about, and we started trying it a few weeks ago. i'm not kidding when i say i've lost 5 lbs in a few weeks. it's supposed to break down food into smaller particles in your stomache, but i find it also makes me less hungry if i take it before meals.

we've been mixing 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar with apple juice 3x a day before meals. i took this from an online article i found:

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

We found a great explanation of how apple cider vinegar works to reduce weight comes from the following web page: http://frugalliving.about.com/library/blvinegararch.htm

'Just one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water at meals can change your life completely. How? Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid which stimulates the production of stomach acid. The more stomach acid the better as it breaks down your food into smaller molecules. The smaller the molecules the more efficiently your intestines and liver can absorb the nutrients it needs. In the old days the stomach would be producing acid all day long so it would be ready for meal time. But these days when the body is stressed the stomach stops producing acid so at meal time there's not enough acid to digest the food. This creates all kinds of problems; indigestion, gastic reflux, IBS, bad breath, diverticulus, fatty liver, lactose intolerance, allergies, fatigue, you name it. But just a little bit of apple cider vinegar gets the stomach working again.'

Traditional Weight Loss Recipe:
2 Tablespoons of ACV in water, 3x a day. Take a stronger concoction (more vinegar, less water) directly after a heavy meal for weight loss and acid reflux symptoms.
