Cigar Roller

for the wedding.

Yay or Nay?

We don't have tons of smokers, but I think cigars are different

We are having them for the Viennese Hour and using La Rosa Cubana - best prices I've seen.

I think it's a cute little extra that people would enjoy. I also got personalized matches to display with the cigars.

Go for it!

ohhhhh Matt wants this too and I really don't. First of all, my parents aren't gonna pay for it so he better get some $ or ask his parents. Second, I don't want everyone leaving the reception to smoke cigars. That's my biggest reason.

I'm sorry, did I just rain on your parade????? You know I love you and anything you decide for your wedding will be beautiful.

That's why I think it's best to do it during the Viennese Hour as opposed to Cocktail Hour or during reception. During the CH, it's hard to drag people into the reception and I wouldn't want people smoking during the reception either. I figure if it's at the end, it wont matter.

I had them for the Viennese Hour and used CF Dominicana, I don't know too much about cigars and I got it as a surprise for DH. WOW was it a hit ppl are still talking and smoking the cigars. FH still has one every Sunday night (and our wedding was back in May) My boss even took some home and gave the matchbook to the Pres of my company. Overall ppl really enjoyed it, my venue had an outdoor deck, so I would just make sure ppl have somewhere relaxing to smoke it. It takes a half hour to smoke one.

I also got personalized matches to display with the cigars.

Go for it!-I second that!

FH and I are definitely having one... Our RH gives us that option (for extra $$) and they have complimentary clippers and humidors.. Our Ballroom has a balcony so it makes sense if people go outside to smoke.. At least it will get some use

i say nay... for us. but, it may be a yay for you.

none of our friends or family smoke cigars, i hate the smell of smoke and dont want everyone leaving. even if it was free i wouldnt do it, but others love it so do what youuuuuu want!

Re: Cigar Roller

My reception hall has no place for them to smoke unless they went totally outside. Although FH would love that....its too much work.
If It were summer I would think about it more...but wont work for us in November.

I guess it depends how you want to end your party? Our band actually suggested to us to not do a Viennese hour b/c you lose the last hour of your party since people are up and maybe in other rooms. My sister-in-law had a cigar roller but it was not too popular with her crowd. I think it really depends on what you guys want to be going on and if you have a lot of smokers who might like it. I was actually glad that our band told us that, I would have never thought of it, but some people extend their party when they do Viennese so again I guess it depends. Sorry, this was no help at all was it??

We chose the 75 cigar package and we are expecting 200 guests. I'm going to ask them to bring more bc I don't want to run out and I will pay for the overage. I hope they go for that! LOL
