I have a lot of questions today - How much are you ladies spending on for your cigars / cigar roller? At first I thought I wanted the whole set up with the two guys that come and roll them, etc etc, but now I kind of feel like that might take away from what is going on inside the wedding, dancing, etc. We went to a wedding at the Westbury Manor once where they had a cigar roller during the VH and everyone was outside watching him and smoking. SO, now I think we are just going to get 100 cigars with personalized labels made. Is anyone doing this - or the option with the roller? Can someone give me a hint regarding which vendor you are using and approx how much? FM if that is better . . . thank you!!
PS - the vendor we are looking at is Little Cigar Factory and its 450$ for 100 rolled cigars with labels. Is that good?

Re: Cigar rollers
That price sounds okay? I am not sure though.
We booked them for $1,000 and the roller + translator + 100 cigars (50 pre rolled, 50 rolled on site) for 1hr at the CH. We are having it half inside half outside so we thought it would be nice to have them outside during the CH. We are also getting married on a Sunday so we didn't know if people would stay to the very end, and didn't want them to not see the Cigar Roller at all, you know?
If they are charging you 450 for just the cigars, that means they charge 550 for the 2 guys, which sounds about right? they each make $275 for the hour, sounds good to me!! LOL

Re: Cigar rollers
We ended up going to a local cigar shop and buying 25-30 cigars, no personalized labels, but I did order personalized matches. Later in the night one of the wait staff went around with the cigars neatly stacked on a silver tray and whoever wanted one took one. I had the matches in a basket that was placed outside. I would say that maybe we should have gotten a few more cigars (we had about 176 people at the reception) because a few people missed out, but it went over really well and didn't take away from the reception. Thanks for sharing! This sounds good - it makes sense for us to just get the cigars because they will put them out with our dessert - we aren't doing VH but toward the end they do the cake, an extra dessert (we are choosing banana splits!!), cordials and liqueurs and a chocolate fountain - I think the cigars will go well with the cordials - and you can get outside right from the ballroom, so hopefully it wont be a mass exodus!

Re: Cigar rollers
oh and I just remembered, if you just get the cigars, pick up 1 or 2 cigars cutters, they're cheap like $2 or less. The girl who walked around with the tray had them in her pocket to make sure no one took them!
