I was thinking about it but my mom was wondering about smoking restriction at the RH..the point was to enjoy them that night and then I did not really want all the men outside smoking...
I'm torn

yeah...but then all that money to do it at the end...you could just get them delivered and hand them out and cut the cost of the roller...

We were so in love with the idea but because we are getting married in Feb...we didnt want to loose all the men at the party who would want to go outside and smoke them. I def would have done it if it was an outdoor party but it just doesnt make sense in the Winter. My FH still loves the idea so we are gonna get them personalized and cut out the roller so we can just pass them out as people leave....Was thiking of giving it to the valet guys to hand out as guests get there cars

I dont know, I kind of disagree weddings usually arent on the top of guys list of things to do, so it gives them something they can enjoy. Im doing it during dessert bc we are having a cordial (spelling sry) bar so they can smoke them with a cordial.

i think a cigar roller would work best if you are having an outdoor cocktail hour. Cigars take a long time to smoke so that hour would be perfect.

Re: CIGARS

We are having an outdoor cocktail hour and ceremony and during cocktail hour, we will have two or three big trunks opened on a table and cigars will be displayed in each trunk. Along with matches lighters etc. I think this makes more sense then hiring a cigar roller that will bring 50 prerolled cigars and only roll 25 for 500 dollars an hour.
I think I can find some good cigars in bulk.

well, its the whole novelty of it that you're paying for ya know? we're getting one and we're pretty excited about it!!! ive never even smoked one but hey! gotta celebrate right?!?!

Re: CIGARS

Yeah definitely gotta celebrate. I'm just wierd about certain things. We are doing our own version of the cigar thing but we are getting fireworks that cost so much that I'm ashamed to say it. We are splurging on almost everything so I don't know why I am not getting a cigar roller but oh well. :) we will make do.

I went to a wedding where they had this and I thought it was really different. Only problem was...all the men were outside smoking and did not realize the wedding was over. They all walked back inside, and the music was over and so was the wedding. That was the only bad part.
