And if so which one? I am thinking of joining a gym along with my pilates classes I go to twice a week. Just wondering about gyms. Thanks!

I have a Bally's membership, but to be honest I never use it for a host of reasons. Parking stinks, you have to wait up until 1/2 hour for a machine (sometimes longer), it's a total meat market and what really grosses me out is the ladies rest/changing room. They'll be some old hag running around naked in there and she'll sit (underwear free) on the benches, the sink tops, etc. Makes me want to puke! They could use a few cans of FDS in there too, because it smells like a dirty (feminine body part). I never use if it I can help it, but really people!

I belong to Lucille Roberts. It really is not the best gym, but it is right near my house and I have to pass it on the way home from work.

I belong to NYSC, have a corporate discount through my job. I go at least 3x a week, so I get my moneys worth. I recommend them, great classes, lots of really nice locations and up to date equipment. Both locations I use just got all new treadmills. Plus its a month to month membership. That is important to me, as I got stuck in an annual contract once paying for a gym I was not even using anymore.

I just looked into Golds Gym by my house. They also have the month to month membership which I really love. They also offer the first month free as a trial. I am really interested in trying some of their classes.

years ago I was a member of Golds Gym in Northport...and it was pretty good...no complaints...but that was in 96-97

I belong to Bally's. I like it, but it can be crowded depending on what time you go. The one in Levittown is much bigger and nicer than the one in Bay Shore. My dad added me on to his plan so I pay almost nothing to go there so I can't complain.

I go and I take two classes there spinning w/ donna C I love her!
AND this new rebounding class which is pretty good, but I am not crazy bout it you stay on your toes on this trampoline thing the classes are pretty good
I took step there once I like spinning class the best

I am really anxious to take the spinning class. I heard such good things about it.I am not sure but I think I saw a Donna on the list for classes in Smithtown. I could be wrong though.
