city girls - NEED YOU

ok - so i am coordinating an event which includes us going to see a play.

i need to find a place to eat afterwards - i do not want super posh - but i also dont want a conry toursit spot either.

i need it to be in the theatre district or at least on the west side.

any great places you can suggest?

Carmine's-italian family style
John's-Brick oven pizza & italian food.

Baldoria - it's on 49th between Broadway & 8th Ave

The food is phenomenal and not super pricey. They have price fix menus also. I think they are some how related to Rao's in Harlem. I think the owners are cousins or something.

thought about carmines - but i have 26 ppl - i skeeve the thought of who touched what by the time that plate comes my way!

Did you try Becco? It is Lidia's restaurant, great itlalian....
