Civil Ceremony Question
Hi Everyone,
My fiance and I are planning on having a civil ceremony sometime in April/early May. He has decided to go to culinary school and is quitting his job; therefore not having health insurance. So we decided to get married at town hall or a justice of the peace before school starts and have a barbecue afterwards. Then in November we'll have the religious/spiritual ceremony and reception. Does anyone have any idea on where I can get information on this process? And do any of the Jewish brides out there know if a Rabbi will still marry us if we have a civil ceremony? Thanks so much!
