Classical Music

Has anyone found a band to play for their cocktail hour? I would love to get a trio to play for an hour, but it's very expensive. Any suggestions?

Contact SUNY Stony Brook Music School or some of the other colleges on LI. They usually have students who are on a list for jobs like that.

Wow!! You just gave me a great idea! I'm going to place an ad in the local pennysaver for college musicians (classical) that do just that. I know for a fact that some music major students are looking for work , along those lines. Kewl, idea. I'll let you know how it goes.
