I have posted a couple of times my ideas for wedding favors and I am still undecided. Does anyone have any input on favors for a formal, elegant wedding event other than chocolate?

I haven't found too many things that I like either... I think I am doing black and white cookies with our monogram in silver in cellophane bags with a ribbon... it's not really a favor, but something they can take with them... Most favors IMO are not classy and are not useful either.

favors are a big thing in my family. They hold onto them forever, so I couldn't do chocolate. So, I got these: You should try the Mikasa & Lenox websites. Someone posted little bud vases that I though were classy.

I went to the Mikasa store in Nyack to see it. I thought it went with the fall theme pretty well.
My brother gave Mikasa crystal candlesticks which I liked. I wanted something like that, so we are giving little Marquis by Waterford crystal bowls. We got them at Tanger - you should check some of the nicer stores out there - they have lots of choices.
Another one I loved was by Mikasa - a square bud vase with 'L O V E' etched on the side.

I am thinking about chocolate truffles....in a white box and wrapped in a ribbon in clor of BM dresses.
