I think the drastic changes are:

Tamed eyebrows
Different color hair
Flattened hair
Put on some weight - not so thin anymore

But yes, I didn't recognize him either! He's kinda dreamy now.

I almost peed myself when Clay came out!!!!! The poor kid looked like he was gonna die!!!!!!
I have to say Clay looks awful....just my opinion though.

that's southern charm baby. lol....i'm from NC as well....and to be honest, they aren't really proud of either american idol contestant from NC....they all think clay is um, 'funny' and that fantasia chick moved to another city (which is reasonable usually) like 2 days after they gave her the key to her hometown and put up dozens of state-tax paid for signs so there's lots of resentment!!! (my mom lives in the next town over.)
