I have to go to the cleaners after work today and complain. Last night while picking out my clothes for my interview, I noticed that one of my brand new shirts from Macys that I had washed w/ light starch and pressed at the cleaners had bleach marks on the collar. They are either bbleach marks or burn marks....not sure. I am going there after work to complain, and tell her I want them to give me the money for the shirt, since it is less than a month old.
Has anyone ever had a problem with their cleaners before? Should I switch cleaners or is this something I should expect to happen every once and a while?
If anyone knows of a better cleaner in N bellmore, Please let me know where it is... Thanks, Scott

Re: Cleaners
Have you gone there for a while and this is the first incident? If so, I would think maybe it is a freak thing and see if they will make it right.
I told DH to change cleaners b/c they kept ruining shirts on him. The final straw for him was when they lost a button on his jacket and he took it back for them to find and replace it. He told them if they couldn't find it, to just leave it alone. Their solution? Just take a button off the other sleeve, without saying anything, so the sleeves have the smae # of buttons and maybe he won't notice....
If they are willing to give you some type of compensation and it is the first offense, I would give them another try. If not, find someone else.
