Really? I figured that it's because it rubs against everything so it just rubs off after a while. At least it's just the underside where no one sees but I know it's yellow so it bothers me. I'm just lazy and need to bring it to the jeweler to be dipped.

Any of you have a white gold ring? The under side of my band is showing some yellow and I know they have to dip it in rodium plating but I am surprised that yellow is showing thru already after only a year and it has already been dipped once. Anyone else have this issue?
YES!!! whenever I wear white gold rings that happens.. Dosent it have something to do with your body chemicals or something?
Wow good to know I can see myself freaking out

Re: cleaning e-ring...
I used the store bought jewelry cleaner, but I don't use it all the time. I would imagine using anything to shine your ring too often would be harmful. Actually, I got my ring in sept and I've only shined it once and that was like last week and I only shined it because a girl I was working with looked at and she told me to 'shine that sh*t'

Hey Girls.....That was my post about the whole Windex thing. Thank God it is back to normal now BUT i had used all the 'at home remedies' to clean it after the windex situation and NOTHING worked. I think the best thing for your ring is to pressure clean it at a jeweler OR a small steam cleaner. JMO im too nervous to use anything else now!!!!!

Re: cleaning e-ring...
whateve you do, don't use Simple Green... I was using this for a while b/c it worked miracles... and then I got a terrible rash all the way around my finger and couldn't wear my ring for a week! water & windex is the best!

I'm glad I logged in and decided to see what you girls are up to! I actually just cleaned my E-ring literally 2 seconds ago!!! So I can help!
I used 1 part amonia to 6 parts water and mixed it in a cup. then carefully dipped my ring in it - swooshed it around and took it out. i used an old eye makeup brush with soft bristles and wet it with the mixture and brushed it up! then rinsed in warm water and dabbed dry!!! then i ran the water really hot so it steamed (sorta) and held my ring while on my finger over it! it looks better now then when i first got it!!
Hope you find this helpful!!
I just did this...so I wanted to say THANKS!!!! My ring looks soooooooo sparkly!!
I will be doing this for the rest of my life now!!

Re: cleaning e-ring...
OK I know this sounds crazy but since I am a teacher I work with abunch of girls and they have given me some great advice.
The one I heard about cleaning the e ring...ok a tiny bit of toothpaste, and a soft toothbrush rinse in warm water and whalah!. The girls swear by it.
Its now February (short aday) and I have been engaged since November...I do not hhave to clean my ring yet...it still shines like brand new. has anyone cleaned theirs yet?
