I know someone had a problem using windex and cleaning their e-ring, so i was nervous to try this, but i did use windex, instead of the jewerly cleaner, plus a little brush, and i have to say it came out AMAZING!!!!!!!
I just made sure to scrub it alot with the brush and then thoroughly rinse it!!! even the platinum is super shiny again!

lol i feel like that was an edited clip from my big fat greek wedding hehe. I have never heard of that, altho i think im a bit spoiled since our neighbor is a jewler (she helped my FH design my ring) so everytime she sees it she is like let me throw it in the cleaner lol

That is what I do also...but the key is after you clean it with the brush....dry it with hot air from the hair dryer. It comes out amazing.

Re: Cleaning E-Ring
my uncle is a jeweler (he made my ring) he said the best thing to use is dawn dish detergent and warm water
almost everything that makes your ring dirty is oil, whether its food, cooking, from your hair, etc. and dawn takes grease out of your way!!! LOL

Re: Cleaning E-Ring
Im scared to clean my ring at all on my own. I just go to my jewler once a month or so and he cleans it for me, and he makes sure its not loose.

So, I was just washing dishes and remembered that I read this earlier. I grabbed the dawn and went to work on the ring. I used the blow dryer to dry it and WOAH!! It is so sparkly right now. Thanks for the idea!!! I forgot how bright it could be

The best thing for your e-ring is steam, that's what the professionals will use.

Re: Cleaning E-Ring
I bought this French Honey Blossom liquid soap from Trader Joes. No Kidding its better than the Jewelry cleaner I got from the jeweler and it smells nice too.
