Cleaning Tip NEEDED!!

Does anyone have a magic solution (besides lots of elbow-grease) for making it easier to get hairspray / spray gel off bathroom flooring??

The floor is the basic peel-n-stick type vinyl or whatever .. nothing fancy.

I think you're supposed to heat it with a hair dryer and then wipe it. Similar to a candle it's supposed to make it liquidy.

ETA: You should use Ammonia to clean it. Or try some diluted shampoo! Works on our hair why not the floor!!

Thanks .. but with a little experimenting on my own .. here's what I came up with .. that seemed to work very, very well ..

I steamed up the bathroom a little.

Then worked in small areas at a time ... with two different heavy-duty sponges (the kind with the rough, scrubby side) for the two different solutions:

First I applied straight rubbing alcohol.

Then followed with a mix of warm water and vinegar.

Of course, now my arms are beat ... but the floor finally looks so, so much better!
