Re: cleaning your engagement ring
I was bringing mine to the jeweler like 2x a month and I felt bad so he gave me a cleaner I can do it at home with. My mom always said to use white-colored toothpaste and a toothbrush as an altrenative.

Re: cleaning your engagement ring
I got a cleaner from the jewelers...clean it about once a month, maybe less.
I shake the thing for like 4 minutes then use the brush given to get under the diamond- so sparkly!!!

Re: cleaning your engagement ring
I sometimes use ammonia but usually windex and hot water (boiling) i let it soak for a bit then take an old toothbrush and clean in the nooks and cranny's. Then rinse with more hot water. So sparkly!!!

Re: cleaning your engagement ring
I used colgate toothpaste (currently the mint zing one) and it does wonders. I had tried soaking in dawn a few times but find that toothpaste is a little quicker.
