my FH is going to pretty upset when I tell him the VERY expensive Diamond earrings I bought for the wedding came in... and I found out that I must be allergic to them!!!!!
I just googled it and someone suggested to put clear nail polish over the part that goes into your ear.
Has anyone done this???? Does it work?
Any other suggestions? I LOVE them and really don't want to return them, if I don't have to.. I even thought of put ting concealer over my bright red ballooning itchy ears.... but i'm sure that won't work!

They're sterling silver ,inside out, hoop earrings with 1/2 carat worth of diamonds.. They ran $170 on sale, which I find expensive as thats 1/3rd the price of my dress!!!
I recently learned i'm allergic to Nickel, which I learned tonight in sterling silver in various amounts... (I always wear gold earrings, but couldn't afford the gold and diamonds in one!)
aaaah, ok, silver makes sense. I've found it unusual for diamons to be set in silver which is why I asked. Good find though!

Yes, the nail polish works...My sister has to do that. A lot of my jewelry is missing because of her.

definitely works! make sure the silver is stamped .925. i used to be allergic too
