they have 2 rooms but only one wedding at a time ... i dont know what the top room is called but thats the smaller of the two rooms ...

i forgot what the top room is called. Its just a bit smaller and doesnt have the dome or the windows quite like the downstairs.

FYI... they have 2 weddings at a time, they stagger them by and hour and a half though

When I checked out CLM them they had 2 weddings going on

FYI... they have 2 weddings at a time, they stagger them by and hour and a half though



yeah i meant that there isnt 2 weddings going on at the same time ... like other place have ...thanks thoughh

Hey girls, sorry to crash I'm getting married at CLM this coming June. They do have 2 weddings at a time. The actual ceremonies arent at the same time, but the receptions are. BUT since one is downstairs and one is upstairs and they have seperate bridal suites and such, you'll never see the other party.

They do have two weddings at a time but it is staggered out. They have a 12:30 ceremony and then 1-4 cocktail reception, then 4:30 ceremony to 10 cocktail reception and then a later one at six i think.

I have the upstairs room which i think is called the bayview (can't remember and i am at work) they are putting in new carpets and new bar for mid 2007 if not earlier. Its a nice room and will fit i think Nick said 125-150 people. I just have 80-100 people at my wedding there.

I have gone there twice were two functions are going on and you do not even know once your in the main reception room.

Me personally do not mind as long as its only one other function going on and we don't have to walk all over the place.

Also they will be installing a elevator next year they are up for the zonning permit next month and there is a town meeting scheduled for it from what i have heard from the Lindy Mayor.

like I said earlier... according to Lou they stagger the parties by an hour and half, so CH's and such don't interfere.... Blu, when you call, confirm that so we all knwo what to expect.

The downstairs room is the Atrium room and I have no clue what the upstairs room is but I do know it has a killer view!!

the upstairs room is really pretty the reason i didnt like it is that the ceilings are on the low side. i didnt like it but thats my opinion.and i didnt like that their were 2 weddings at one time and if we were to be upstairs FFIL and my grandfather are disabled and could not go up and down the stairs and they dont have an elevator

Yea upstairs had regular ceailings downstairs has the cathedral style with skylights. Its a grand room downstairs but you need a pretty good min to get into there. I perfered upstairs because of my party size. I don't like feeling stuffed but i hate lost also.

Also, if you have a group of smokers they must come all the way down stairs and out of the door or dock if they want to smoke. This is why I could not take the upstairs room. We will have a cigar roller and such.. which is insane to make people climb those stairs -- or hopefully they have an elevator..

they are planning on adding an elevator, this was 2nd choice for us

Go to the Bride's Review and ask a former CLM bride about it.... CaMacho comes to mind, she had a gorgeous CLM wedding and is always up for quesions....

They do two weddings at a time, but they are staggered by an hour and 1/2 like the above posters said. So obviously there will be a few hours where there are two weddings at a time. I got lucky and we were the only wedding, the upstairs room had a firefighter party that night (not a wedding).

CLM does a great job though... you don't EVER see anyone from the upstairs party. They are already up in their room and an hour into it by the time your reception starts and have been long gone by the time your wedding ends (and vice versa).

Back when we booked, we had a choice of 5:30pm ceremony time (7pm recep) and 7:30pm ceremony time (9pm recep). It might be different now, but I wouldn't worry about it. CLM does a superb job with everything!
