I can understand that you would want one wedding and just your wedding. Honestly I started off that way until i found it very hard to find a place that did that with a reasonable price and it looked nice. But its out there..
I am sorry to see that your unhappy with CLM and this has happened. Think it over, call nick and lou and explain what has happened see what can be worked out (cancelation etc) just make sure you are happy.

yeah i read it but i am still kind of upset i made it a point to aks about this and i never got the impression that there was 2 at teh same time 2 the same day sure but not 2 at the same time ... i dot nknow i'm gong to think it over ...

Why dont you go and check the place out when they have to going on at the same time. That way you see if you're not going be comfortable with another wedding there.

like someone else mentioned, there are few places that have 1 wedding at a time. ANd those that do cost alot more than CLM. Glen island and lands end have 1 wedding at a time, not 100% sure about glen island if its 1 but almost sure. And both places are double the price of CLM. So if you're willing to spend twice as much pp then you should go find a place that has just 1 wedding. But otherwise i think you should take the advice of the other girls, especially camacho who already had her wedding there. Ask to go see the place when there are two weddings going on.

yeah i know ... my only other option would be the rivera in masspequa they only have one wedding at a time and they quoted me almost the same has CLM ... but at this point who knows if they have it avalibale ... i already started seeing vendors and i'm booked them ... if i change that means i would have to call all of them up see if they have it avaliable ... its just going to be more headaches ... so it looks like i'm staying with CLM .... though i'm still mad at them right now !!!!

i booked woht lou ... hes on vacation ... so i ended up speaking with Nick last night ... i told him i would call him back today to make my descion and when i do i am def. telling him how i feel ...

i would be really upset if they didnt tell me their were 2 weddings at one time.. that and the fact there is no elevator is wht made me choose somewhere else. i would def talk to nick hes really nice and see what he can do for u... say u are really unhappy and are thinking of taking ur business and $$$ somewhere else since they false advertised to u. see what he does... maybe he'll through in some free stuff.. cant hurt. ![]()

My friend was telling me about this. My RH says that if you cancel any payments you made they keep. Even if that's 10K!! She said that news 12 did some research on this and according to the DA if you give enough notice for them to rebook (10months) you are only responsible for a certain amount.
I also wanted to say that my hall does two weddings at a time too. But they seperate the brides. Depending on what room you book depends on the gardens you get for photos and the room for the CH and bridal suite.

It's a nice place and i am sure you will have a beautiful wedding. Don't even think about the fact that there might be another wedding upstairs. Just focus on the fact that you are going to marry the love of your life, and all your friends and family there to celebrate with you. You'll have so much going on you wont even notice.
