Anyone hear anything about its condition... I saw in favebook they said they r ok ... I was down there after the storm and I can't see how that's possible but I'm hopeful

I tried driving past there yesterday and I couldn't get past the marina. It's pretty bad down there. The building itself is still up, but the parking lot is full of mud and sand. So sad.

I saw this update on their page:
Chateau La Mer Lindenhurst did get a lot of damage. We are in the process of evaluating the Chateau La Mer, however it appears from initial inspection, that the damage was isolated to the office areas on the lowest level. Banquet rooms, lobby, kitchen, bathrooms, have all been spared.

they are re doing the whole main ballroom.. all the rugs are gone and it all matches the marble that was the dance floor! They are also doing new ceilings.. walls and drapes! Its gonna look amazing
