CLM brides having ceremony at RH...

When do you plan on taking pictures?
My ceremony is at 5:30, CH starts at 6.
I know they they do that yacht arrival 20-30 min into CH from what I am told.... so technically I'd have 30 min for picture taking unless I ask them to do the arrival at the end of CH?

Are you taking pictures before hand?

I'll probably ask my BM next time I call up but I was just curious at what everyone else does who gets married there cause it's not like you have time between the church & reception really.

we are doing ours beforehand at Venetian shores a few mins away, then getting to clm at 4 for family photos - i have the same ceremony time as you.

Thanks.. that's what I was thinking I'd need to do. FH is completely against seeing eachother before the ceremony. But I don't know what else to really do. He's just going to have to see it my way or crunch in our photos

I was planning to go to Argyle Park which is up the road a bit (10 mins maybe) but then FH and I decided to just do our couples photos on the pier because we'll be too pressed for time. We don't get the yacht because it's too cold still.

Still trying to figure out if we still want to do the ceremony at CLM. If we do, we'll take pictures before the ceremony.

We are also taking our pictures beforehand...starting at the hotel and then either at Argyle Park or Venetian Shores. I was initially against this but we figure we are paying alot of $ and want to enjoy cocktail hour. The time goes so fast so it will be nice to have pics done and be able to enjoy it. Also we are going to do a 'reveal' where we see each other for the first time and the photographer shoots that.

i felt the same way when we were originally planning to take pics a bit further away - but then i found out about venetian shores and feel much more comfortable with our schedule. if taking pictures someplace else is something you really want to do, and its close enough like argyle and venetian, i would do it. i love clm, but there isnt much property for pictures aside from the pier - which is beautiful, but i dont want all my pictures to be the same.
