clm lands end

clm lands end

Opinions on either? We were all set for clm but then my mom calls today going on and on about lands end. I'm going there tues to check it out.

We were really happy about our choice and I don't know why she keeps bringing up other venues. I did want to check out lands end but when I called they said they were booke summer of 2010 but now they have one sat. Ughhhh I don't know!

I agree with above...LE is great!!!! The food and service and venue are all awesome. They are pricier than CLM esp for a Sat night though. FM me if you have any questions but definitely take a look!!!

I can't help you with regards to CLM or Lands End, but I can give you some advice about your Mom's reason for bringing up new venues.

My FMIL kept doing the same thing, we were set on what we wanted but then she would bring up a new place and make an appointment for us so we had to go visit. It was unbelievably irritating, but she was really looking out for our best interests and wanted to make sure we were both happy with our choice. And in all honesty (and as much as I hate to admit it) she was right. Turns out the 2nd to last place we went, and begrudgingly might I add, was our favorite venue.

CLM is truly amazing between the amount of food they serve, the quality of food & the outstanding service from the moment you book - even past your wedding day! Our guests have been writing in their Christmas cards to us about what an amazing wedding & venue we had! The one really awesome thing about CLM if you're doing a summer wedding is the yacht arrival during cocktail hour - our guests still say that is the coolest thing they have EVER seen! (great photo ops too!)

I will advocate forever for CLM and I haven't even had my wedding there yet. They are beyond accomodating and their food is great from what I hear, haven't had my tasting yet. At the end of the day, go with what you love but I couldn't see myself anywhere else but CLM now.

CLMs price is WAY better than Lands End!

Lands End is super expensive- not sure what youre budget is...but the prices start around 135/person- no extras no add ons no tax. although their base is pretty hefty. The hall is gorgeous! If money wasnt an object I would definitely have our wedding there.

If this is out of your range, do not go see it...you will be dissapointed! at least I was, it was the first hall we looked at and nothing compares to it.

p.s. the summer prices I got from Lands End were around 185 pp for a sat night.

Land's end gave me a quote for $125 for Sat in July 2010 because it's so close. That is still double CLM! I just don't know if it's worth it. I'm in love with CLM.

it's a tough call, i looooove Land's End...but it just doesnt make sense to me to spend all that money when you can have an equally nice wedding for half the price...

you have to decide for yourself. I'd rather have the CLM wedding and spend more on Flowers and HM but thats just my opinion.

What's more important to you and FH?

either way your wedding will be beautiful, both are great options!

That's how I feel. I'd rather that money go elsewhere. We are both in love with CLM. We didn't even see Land's End yet in person. It was originally on my list, but they said they were booked. My mom went today and found out they have one Sat left. I guess I'll go check it out and see how I feel, but I don't know if it's worth spending double. Thanks!
