So FH and myself went to see VYC yesterday after his softball game. From what I have heard, read we thought we wouldnt have enough people b/c usually min are 150 but lo and behold guess what...FH and I walked in and the view hit us! After sitting down with Daisy (who was great) it seemed VYC was within our reach..and the date she had was great as well (sat afternoon in May). We went back to CLM to take a look at view, the grounds, sat around and watched the ceremony outside. So now it is decision time...we went to talk with FMIL for advice..and guess what...without even knowing it the day they have at VYC is my FH grandmothers birthday (who helped raise him and who passed when he was young..could it be fate?)
How did you all know your place was 'the place'? FH and I walked out and were like..wow this may be it.

we booked at larkfield manor. They were the first place we went to and we were pretty sure we going t ogo with them but we wanted to be sure. We checked out thatched cottage, chatau lemair and Manor East.But we didnt like it as much and found ourselves conparing every place to larkfield. Thats when we knew larkfield was the right choice

I am getting married at CLM, so obviously I would recommend it to you. However, I have never seen VYC and have heard very good things about it. Good luck with your decision!!!

I am getting married at the VYC so I am a tad biased however an afternoon wedding would be perfect! You'll have the best time to enjoy their amazing view!

I'm geting married at CLM and I knew was the place once I saw the view. We knew we wanted to be on the water and I figured I'd have to pay an arma and a leg to get a view like that......

I've been to both and they're both beautiful and the food is really great at both places.
Honestly, I knew my place was 'the one' because I felt like it belonged to me.... It's pretty funny but I just consider it MY place (although I'm sure ever other bride feels the same!). Good luck!

we looked at both places ....both places are so nice! but i just FELL in love with CLM so much more
but then i saw Flowerfield and it was just perfect..its not on the water but its wonderful
