My Dr wants me to start taking Clomid since we are having problems TTC...I was wondering if anyone has any success/failure stories about it? Also -- any side effects? Any info would be great .. Thanks

I know one person who used Clomid and has a son the same age as Annalise. I think it worked after a month. Can't help any more than that. Sorry! Best of luck with your treatments. I think having one child you conceived naturally is supposed to say alot about your chance for another baby.

I was on Clomid for three cycles. Unfortunately it did not work for me - but I have heard many success stories. The only side effects that I experienced were wicked mood swings.

My friend had twins while taking clomid. If yyou read TCOYF there is a chapter about the effects.

I have a cute story about the side-effects. A friend at work (we teach in a HS) was taking it, and one day afterschool we were walking past the gym where the boys b-ball team was practicing. My friend stopped, and said, 'wow, from over here, those boys look like men!' we giggled. I think you get the idea about her side-effects.

I was on Clomid for 4 cycles. I did ovulate on the strongest dose but did not get pregnant. The biggest side effect for me was hot flashes.
I've also taken Femara (Lotrozol) for 4 cycles and I've ovulated but also have not gotten pg. But didn't have the side effects with this drug.
But on a good note: I was conceived when my mom took Clomid on the first cycle of it.
