Closing Date has MOVED

Our closing date is now next Wednesday, the 24th, not the 29th. Okay fine.....but then YESTERDAY, the mortgage broker calls me and starts rattling off how our first loan has gone down a 1/2point and the 2nd went up a 1/2point and b/c of that the bank for the 2nd won't pay the mortage Co. fee...We have to pay the fee now....I didn't say anything, I just said, 'ok, ok, ok, ok, I see.' As I was listening to him I emailed my lawyer (my BIL) and I was fuming, a week before closing there is another expense?! I have not bugeted for this!!! It may not seem like a big deal but I was livid!!! Who do these guys think they are? $700 is the fee, how can I be diplomatic and tell him just to STUFF IT?

(i needed to vent)
