Clubbing the seals

I am horrified, i just turned on Fox News and watched this man beating these animals to death. Canada is allowing 1 million to be beaten to death

i know... its horrible.
we had to watch it in an environmental science class i took (greenpeace movie i think). i was in tears watching these poor baby seals get clubbed on the head. its so sad!!

over-population? i'm assuming....
There are a few islands off the coast here in maine that are 'over populated' with deer...and they hire people to kill them!

There must be some more humane way of killing them. Can't we give them a lethal injection?

Canada has been allowing that s*** for so many years. They club them to death because that is the best wear to use seal for shoes, furs etc. I will never ever wear anything that is made real fur or seal. For those who wear real fur or seal, just remember it's real owner was killed for it.

They are hunting and hunting is violent. Besides, it doesn't 'damage the fur' which equates to more $$$ in their pocket.

I saw the article in the times last week. They've made the regulations better, as far as the age, etc. but it's still terrible. I think we need to get on this and squash it like we did 10 years ago. We can't be apathetic
