so i bought the paper mache boxes and i just went to Joann's and i walked around like a tourist lol
what kind of fabric did you girls get? Satin? taffeta? i have no idea what to get. also did you buy all your stuff there like the ribbon used or the material used to outline the card slot etc? how did you know how much to buy?
anyone wanna come to the store with me to help? lol

i prefer to use the flannel backed satin but i have used other satin and it works ok. i paint on glue to the boxes in a small strip at a time so the fabric lays totally flat. as for the ribbon i usually use a single faced satin for around the lids and a wire edge for the bows since it makes it much easier to shape the bows.

yup i live in the frozen north but 99% our friends and family is still on LI hence the LI wedding.... i would love to have it here but it would have been too much of a PITA to get everyone to come here.
