Cmastro's fun-filled day of vendor shopping!

Girls,

I'm so excited. On Thursday, we went to see Queens Bridal and got an awesome quote on photo, video, flowers, limo, and invitations. We liked the photo albums, but didn't love the video.

Today, we went to see Patken and Silverfox for photo/video and Starlight Express for DJ.
Plus, we visited our hall to make a payment, which always puts me in a good mood.

Anyway, I was told that Patken was so expensive, but I know they are one of the best, so we went to use them as a comparison. WELL, they are not expensive, they gave us a good, and a discount becuase they are a house vendor at my hall. We made another appointment for tomorrow and we're going to book them.

YAY! I am so happy! 2 more things down. Plus, Starlight was really good so we have a DJ possibility.

Okay, sorry for such a looooong post. Just so excited to finally get something done. Yay!

Someone here on the boards posted a gorgeous album done by Patken. I wish I could remember who. Anyway, congrats on your choices.

Congrats!! I think there is a patken album posted on BHB..its really pretty

Congrats...who did you meet with at Starlight?? We are considering them too...I think they would do an awesome job! We still need to see other DJs thats the only one that we saw

I met with the owner, Vinnie. He was really great and gave us a good price. He was really honest with us. When he found out that we were getting married on a Sunday afternoon, he said that we shouldn't waste our money on any lighting effects because we would barely see it in the daytime. I had never even thought of that. I'm going to see them perform at the Villa Lombardi expo this week.
