It totally depends on the board members. Some are very casual and some are more structured. If they have a list of rules they may go through them with you. Generally they want just want to meet the proposed shareholders.

Relax and be yourself! Interview them as much as you are being interviewed. Good Luck!

Don't worry about it I had to go before the board when my parent bought this place since I was going to be the one living in it - they just ask you questions about your life - basically I think they do it to make sure you aren't wild party people who will disrupte everyone elses life and that you aren't going to do anything horrible - basically they want to see that you are normal and not dangerous crazy people

it is really a formality

at my old place they asked me about musical instruments I play (I don't know why that sticks out)

but they were pretty easy on me since I was a teacher (you'd be surprised what as asset that is when trying to find apartments)

but explained the rules to me pretty much

OMG Yabbabo- that is SOOO funny if that is true - I have a teacher who lives underneath me and she is the BANE of our existance at this place - she BLARES her tv, her radio - my whole floor SHAKES and she KNOWS that I'm in school -I have asked her around final times if she could possible lower it slightly and she TURNS IT UP!!! Never mind the fact that she has people over who shout and make noise on a weekday (mon, tues, wed) nights until about 3 am. slamming doors. I can't tell if she would be embarrassed to know that I can hear ALL of her conversations and other uh hemmm personal private things she does.

I had a family with an infant who lived there before her that I almost never heard - their baby would cry all night - but you could only hear it if you strained but - this one plays the same song over and over and people can even hear it when I'm on the phone. We are going to be selling this place soon and I am trying to figure out when to get people in here when she ISN'T home or we will have problems selling it I fear
