co-worker getting engaged...crisis averted

one of my guy co-workers is proposing in the city right before thanksgiving. he has been STRESSSSSSING about the ring for weeks. (he updates me on it everyday ) yesterday he FINALLY picked out a ring....he ordered a size 5.5 . we were talking just now and he asks if he can see my ring, i take it off and he puts it on his pinky and says 'oh, your a 5.5 too, just like the ring im getting my girlfriend, the ring im getting her fits on my pinky too'.....i tell him NO WAY am i a 5.5, my ring is a 6.5 .

he turned pale white and ran to call his jeweler to have it made a 6.5 instead apparently he brought the jeweler a ring that she currently wears and the jeweler told him its a 5.5, but it was really a 6.5

jeweler isnt the sharpest tool in the shed
