co-worker vent

co-worker vent

I am sure I am not the only person who has a co-worker that drives her crazy so lets vent about our co-workers.

My co-worker is just about 8 months pregnant. Since the day she peed on a stick & got a positive she has been using her pregnancy as an excuse for everything. I just can't take it anymore.

Her newest thing is that she can't answer the phone (which is part of her job) because the baby gets annoyed & kicks her. Mind you she spend atleast 3 hours a day on the phone with her mom or cousin.

Her being on maturnity leave is going to be a vacation for the rest of us.

Are you serious? Thats crap! You can answer a phone!!!!

My boss (who is a very strong female in a male dominated industry) said that being pregnant is not a disability!!! I can respect that. Some woman milk it. Its different to milk it at home with the father, but if you can still go to work. I cantotally understand the no heavy lifting or excessive walking, but seriously, put on your big girl panties and pick up a phone!!!

i've had tons of weird co-workers

-- one guy was very socially awkward and (i'm assuming) had no friends. At the company holiday party, we took a picture together (with one other female employee). The guy framed the picture and gave it to his mom!!!

-- another guy owened 26 cats in a small house and reaked of cat urine. he would come in to work with furr all over his clothes, which had HUGE holes in them from where the cats teared them up. Nastiest guy ever!

-- third coworker yelled at me (literally yelled!) because i made a comment that she took personally (even though it had nothing to do with her). she then refused to believe it was a misunderstanding!

-- fourth person clipped his toenails in his cubicle (we were cube neighbors and i was not happy about it)

-- fifth guy would speak soooooo loudly on the phone 24/7

i've had horrible luck with co-workers

Thank G-d my current co-workers are mostly sane hahaha

Um, WHAT??? Can't answer the phone??? How the h*ll does that fly at your place of work? I would laugh when she says that, like obviously she's trying to be funny, then when the phone rings I'd walk away and let it ring until she answers it. I have never heard something so ridiculous in my life! How does she still have a job?

Because since she is pregenant we can't fire her.

My new thing is to answer the phone on the first ring & since 95% of the calls are for her, I just transfer them to her.
I forgot to mention that most of our clients are Spanish speaking & my co-worker is the only person in the office that speaks Spanish.
