Do you think people notice the music so much during cocktail hour? Has anyone one been to a wedding that used a steel drum band?
Thoughts.....

I think it would be cool to have this, but if you don't, no one will notice. I think people are so busy mingleing during cocktail hour that they hardly notice the music.

Yes, I have been at a few and if your wedding is on the water, IMO, it adds great atmosphere. If would definitely do it if I was having my reception on the water, without a doubt.

steel band would be a great idea, I looked into it, but out band included a keyboardist - you know what I dont even remember seeing or hearing him at all... but he is in the video, so I know he was there!

we had a steel drum band at our wedding, and it was awesome! THE CH was outside and everyone said they felt like they were at a resort
