You don't need them at all, we're skipping them. If anything, I was thinking of putting little plastic bucket and shovels at each table since it's a beach club. I also saw small metal ones on oriental trading that I may use with a floating candle. If you decide to use something, do it yourself, not through the florist.

Re: Cocktail Centerpieces!!!!
I was going to do 1 votive candle on each table. Of all the wedding I have been to there was never a centerpiece... only a candle or a bud vase if anything.

Re: Cocktail Centerpieces!!!!
I'm not sure what my hall has to offer, if anything. I was thinking of finding inexpensive clear glass bowls and adding floating candles in it.
If you really want something for cocktail hr. maybe you can do something like that.

We didn't do any then I found out my hall had vases of bamboo on each table (very pretty and very appropriate for our hall).

Re: Cocktail Centerpieces!!!!
i think i am going to go with votive candles and a bud bowl on each table. my friend had that recently at her wedding and the bud bowl looked very simple and pretty.

Nah....don't worry you don't need anything. If you wanna look for something cheap just keep your eyes open but honestly I think its fine without.

Re: Cocktail Centerpieces!!!!
No..you don't
I've seen tables that had the little shiny confetti on them and that's nice. I would just double check with your hall because alot of places hate when tables are decorated with them, hard to clean up.

Re: Cocktail Centerpieces!!!!
I think the candle idea is nice, but in most places, the tables are so small and so many people sit at one, that they need all the room they can get on the table with all their food and drinks they are going have!

Re: Cocktail Centerpieces!!!!
Talk to your hall & see if they'll provide them for you. If not maybe you can do something on your own. Our hall provides a rose floating in a bowl of water but my friend made those for a party once - $20. She got the bowls at a dollar store & bought the roses in bulk from a minimart 2doz. for $10 Or maybe you could coat some fruit in sugar & have the CH put them in a bowl.

Re: Cocktail Centerpieces!!!!
I will not be putting centerpieces on the CH tables. None of the weddings I have been to have decorated the cocktail tables.
