Is everyone going to attend there cocktail hour??

FH and I originally where not going to but now we have decided to go..

Whats everone doing?

We're doing pictures and I really didn't want to anyway - we'll have our own private one in the bridal suite - it will be the only few minutes we'll probably have alone to enjoy each other

I think we spend the first half in the bridal suite and then go into the Ch for the second half. Its a good chance to get some of your 'hellos' in before the reception.

We have a 3 hour time slot to take pictures, so we should be oK!

I want to go just so I can greet people there instead of having to waste time at the reception part going from table to table.

We are going to try to be there. We will probably eat by ourselves before we join the CH just to make sure we get some food in our stomachs - bc I figure out we are there we are going to be walking around and talking to everyone...not much time for eating.

We planned on attending ours. I wasn't planning on doing a receiving line at the church and didn't want to take up valuable eating time at the reception to say hello to everyone.

Since I was so late there was no way I could do a receiving line anyway and it was great to say hello to everyone at the cocktail hr.

We actually had an hour and a half so after hour in I grabbed DH had a few minutes alone in the suite then the BP came up. I ate again and we were announced. I think I'm one of the few brides that actually ate that night. I had c-tail 2x's dinner & desert!

I'll be starving by 12pm as I surely won't be able to eat much of a breakfast from nerves...the ceremony feels like a performance to me and I could never eat just before my performances....I am definitely looking forward to it!!! Hopefully, we make most of it.

We are going to go in, once all the pictures are done.
It will probably be only for the last half hour, but we want to mingle and eat!!!! It is nice to wait and there is something special about waiting until the reception, but I know I will be antsy and excited.

We would not miss it....that is when we talked to all of our guests and thanked them for coming. The only thing that $ucked is that people gave me their cards when I went around to say hello and I was stuck holding like 50 cards.....I finally gave them to my dad to hold until we got into the reception area and could put them in the card holder/bird cage that we had
