Cocktail Hour

Is everyone going to attend there cocktail hour??

FH and I originally where not going to but now we have decided to go..

Whats everone doing?

I wouldn't miss it !!! Also hope to be able to greet many of the guests so more reception time to dance.

Hopefully.....we are going to have our pictures taken then (I don't want to FH to see me before the ceremony) so we may or may not have much time.

We did not, though we were able to sample a good deal of the food because they brought it to us out on the beach when we were taking pictures.

We didn't attend our cocktail hour and if I had to do it again, I wouldn't attend it.

I loved that hour in the bridal room with just the bridal party.......we had all the same food that was served at the cocktail hour and our own bridal attendant serving us drinks. It was so much fun. The day goes by so fast, it was nice to have this hour with just the bridal party hanging out on the couches, eating, laughing, etc.

The only way I would attend the cocktail hour is if I didn't have a receiving line at the church. Then the cocktail hour is a opportunity to say hello to your guests. But I got that overwith during the receiving line.

Originally I was all for it because I love cocktail hour but, then I realized, we probably wouldn't have the time to eat or drink if we went so now I'm uncertain on what I want to do. I think I might have some food and drinks in the bridal suite before we go and see everyone.

yes, absolutely! We will probably take a few minutes to ourselves in the bridal suite because the CH immediately follows the ceremony, but we wouldn't miss it for anything!

We are having an hour and a half cocktail hour. So for the first 30-45 minutes, we plan on eating. Then after that, I think we will go out and say hello to everyone. I don't want to be walking around the reception.
