Cocktail Hour

How many of you girls are going to your CT hour?

I always said i was def going to mine. I want to be able to walk around and start saying my hellos and all, and enjoy that hour.
But as its getting closer & people are asking me more about the wedding they keep saying that we shouldn't go, that we should walk out and let everyone see us for the first time when they call our name at the reception. What are you girls doing?

We went to ours. There was no way we were going to miss the pigs in a blanket and the kick-a$$ sushi bar (that we paid extra for and was worth every damn piece of seaweed and grain of rice):

We went for 30 minutes. We spent 15 minutes alone immediately after the ceremony and then spent 15-20 minutes eating together in the bridal suite.
Going to cocktail hour was good for us because we got to greet a lot of people.

I would say we spent the time after the ceremony the exact same way. It was nice b/c we got some alone time but also got to finally PARTY. We were antsy to get down there and see everyone!

I am going to mine. FH and I are paying for the whole wedding and I REALLY wanted a steel drum band, so I have to go and check them out.

Plus it will be great to see everyone.

We are doing our pictures before hand so we can attend our CH.

I am not going to be taking pictures while everyone else is inside having a good time without us!

You've already had your moment of everyone seeing the two of you together at the ceremony and you will get to walk into the reception together.

But you should do what feels right for you!

We're not going to ours. I always wanted to be announced at the reception. We have a large bridal party, so we will let them go in. We won't miss out on the food though because the hall will have it brought to the bridal suite!
