Cocktail Hour

Hi I'm noobie over here =) just really started to get into the plunge of planning.. just a ques.. is anyone getting decorations for the tables at the cocktail hour? i want to do a little something to make the tables look cute - the room is really pretty so i dont need to do too much... just a thought.. any ideas? its an afternoon wedding so i dont think candles would really work..

Hmm I haven't really thought about the CH first because the tables are smaller and that you don't want to clutter them up with centerpieces.

At my RH the in-house florist decorates most of the area in the CH room so maybe ask your venues in house florist what they do for that particular time of year and then see if you even need it?

Hmm...I don't think I've ever seen tables decorated for CH. They tend to be small tables, so I don't know if there is really much room for decoration on the tables. Maybe set up a table of pics of you and your FH or a display table of some sort rather than decorating the tables where people will be sitting.

I see CH tables decorated when I go to weddings. Ask your RH bec they ususally do it. Candles with some rose petals in the afternoon will look soo nice, or maybe a little vase with a tea candle in it or a floating flower.

i havent talked to RH yet about it - i was just thinking it would be nice.. i'll def ask them if they provide anything - my brothers friend is doing my flowers - i'll ask her about the floating flowers..
