Cocktail Hour at Jericho Terrace

Can someone PLEASE invite DH and I to their cocktail hour? Just the cocktal hour! We missed the food at ours (we were there for a half hour but didn't get any food) and I'm DYING to taste that food! They put food in the bridal suite but not a lot and it wasn't stuff I really eat. During pictures they brought us food but EVERYONE ate the rice balls before I could HAHA! I'll even bring a check

The stuff they brought into the bridal suite wasn't what I wanted either. But man did I stuff my face at CH. I refused to even say hi to anyone, I went over to sit on my friend's lap and ate and ate and ate.

I'm ridiculously excited that my friend just booked JT for her 2012 wedding. I'm practically drooling already over it.

Let's go to the next JT showcase and stuff our faces!

same here... i had two bites of some steak in the bridal suite...

if someone didnt step on my dress at the CH and break the bustle i would have at least been able to sit and eat something or mingle a little more!

I actually ate a lot in my bridal suite. My BA made two plates for me and sat me down to make sure I ate. And I did because I knew that was the last time I'd get to eat all night. DH only had a few lamb chops (which he specifically requested to have in the bridal suite) and that was it

But I'm dying to go to another NRC wedding and really eat the food.

we didnt go to cocktail hour, but the one thing i really wanted was teh fried calamari...so as they were bustling my dress, the BA put a big table cloth on me and i just ate a plate. so yum

DH really enjoyed the time i had to go the bathroom, since it meant he got to sit down and stuff his face....whearas i needed help lifitng my dress and pull down the spanx so i could peee

Same here!! I was too busy greeting people to take a bite of anything!! I even had a martini luge that people were takin shots from and I missed that too!! The food I had in the bridal suite was delish but not half of what was out there..

Luckily I get to go to Jenna's wedding in a week and 2 days and try it all again!!!!! Woo-Hoo!! Can't waitt!!

I'm DEF down to go to the bridal showcase that has the food. I ate everything at the reception but I was looking forward to the cocktail hour food...so sad

I was trying to get my friend to have her wedding there but that didn't work HAHA! HOPEFULLY someone else I know has their wedding there so I can FINALLY enjoy the cocktail hour.

And my bustle kept coming undone too. I specifically asked for a bustle with the strings and she did a hook and eye and told me it was stronger...well it wasn't and I spent half the time with my dress pulled up for them to fix the french bustle. It was a GREAT wedding and I had a GREAT time and now I'm salivating over just thinking about the cocktail hour!!! Is it lunch yet?

Haha! My string frech bustle broke before even entering the CH room! Thank god for Rosa the bridal attendant sent from heaven!! She must had had to pin up my dress a million times!

Keep your mouth stuffed with CH food at all times...people will either not approach you because you're eating or if they do, you can politely nod and smile between bites
