Cocktail Hour before or after?

Cocktail Hour before or after?

Is anyone planning on having their cocktail hour before their ceremony? This is an old jewish tradition...but I don't know if I want to do it that way? Any suggesstions?

We're not having the cocktail hour before the ceremony, but we have a champagne invite scheduled for 30 minutes before the ceremony, so people will be able to mingle a little and have light refreshments beforehand.

We are having champagne as well before the ceremony.

we had champagne, sparkling water and fresh fruit before the ceremony and it was really nice for everyone...

It sounds lovely to have the champagne and fruit before. The guests must really enjoy that. A great way to start your wedding!
