Cocktail hour for Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Brides
Some of you girls will love it and some will hate it: I want to have as much of a rock and roll/heavy metal wedding as possible, but don't want people to be put off or offended.
So for cocktail hour I asked the DJ to play Paul Anka and Pat Boone cds where they sing rock and metal.
Just an idea for those of you looking for something a little different

Johnny Cash does Hurt by NIN - Dave LOVES that version more than the Trent Reznor one!!!!!
That's a FANTASTIC idea!!!!!!!!!!!!
We're also using Richard Cheese throughout the Cocktail Hour - no other music will play - just a few Cheese cd's!!

Nice!! We considered that too, but we figured we would have enough with Anka and Boone.

FH and myself are pretty much hand picking our entire playlist for the whole wedding. While most of the songs people still don't know we are trying to keep it still likeable for the masses (we think), but we are using our cocktail hour for sort of the 'out there' songs that we love and want to hear but no one will want to dance to lol we figure its our wedding and we'll hear what we want to!
