Is anyone having someone play music at their cocktail hour only? And if so, how much are you paying?
I would like to do this, but I also would like to do it cheaply...

Re: Cocktail Hour Music
We are using Soul Revival for our wedding, ceremony, cocktail and reception. However for cocktail hour we are having a jazz trio and it's $150 a musician. They are reasonable with their prices, I checked out alot of bands too Their website is www.soulrevivalband.com Good Luck! Jane

What about craigslist? You could look through the postings or post your own.

Burn you own CD of soft music and instrumentals and have it played over the sound system. Can't get more economical than that! (It's actually what my DJ recommended )

Re: Cocktail Hour Music
this is already included with my DJ.
Sometimes the reception hall has music already that they will put on a classical station and it will come through the built in speakers.
If my DJ didn't include it I wouldn't of bothered cuz I don't think anyone really p ays attention to it anyway. JMO
