Cocktail Hour Music

We are looking for someone(s) to play steel drums or Reggae style music at our cocktail hour. Does anyone know of someone or a group they could suggest? Thanks!

Im not doing this personally but I belive the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music can put you in touch with someone. Don't have their number but they are located on 7th Avenue. Also, ask your band/DJ for recommendations as well as posting on the vendor board. Hope that helps.

Cocktail Hour Music

We were going to do the same thing, but found that all the good bands were REALLY pricey for one hour. We decided to just have our DJ play Carribean music through the cocktail hour. I would suggest checking the music departments at local colleges. Often they have fabulous artists at reasonable prices. Many of them want the experience and opportunity to play. Good luck!!
