As of now I have a string quartet for the cocktail hour. We also have a percussionist to play with the DJ at the reception. What are the thoughts on the steel drums instead?? It's very lively and upbeat.

I love the steel drums for cocktail hour! I haven't looked into any, though, because our band's pianist is playing for our cocktail hour for free (i cannot argue with that lol).

I love the steel drums too!! But I couldn't afford them (the FH wouldn't allow it) so my DJ said he could put in a CD of a steel drum band. How cool!!!

seriously- he played the music in his office and I was swaying from side to side like I was on vacation on some island. Im glad to be saving 600 bucks (which I am sure I will spend somewhere else regardless) But if I had money to blow I would def go for the live thing.
