Where can I have an elegatn cocktail party/engagement party? Everyplace I seem to go does not understand what kind of party I want :( Any suggestions?

We had our engagement party and The Garden City Casino, it is a very nice country club in Garden City. The room was gorgeous and the food was Excellent!! OH and they were very reasonable too!!
