cocktail reception anyone?

I am looking for a place that does cocktail weddings or a place that is flexible enough to copy someone's menu.

We are willing to do any time of the year for price purposes. If anyone knows any information and how much it is per head please let me know.

We have at least 200 people attending.

Thanks!

DeSeversky at NYIT can definitely do it and their mansion is set up perfectly for this as it is not really big enough for a full sit down dinner and dancing.

Also try the Metropolitan Club.

when i booked at timber point, there were two options - cocktail reception and sit down dinner. i was originally going to do the cocktail version, but realized it was the same price so i figured what the helll just do the formal. hopefully you're able to find the cost savings for that option!

Flowerfield is St.James offers a cocktail reception. It's not any less expensive then a regular reception, however.

The Bourne Mansion has this as one of their options... I wanted it, FH didn't so we went with the sit down dinner. But I would think most of the Lessings venues would do it if the Bourne does.

Hi! I'm doing a cocktail reception! If you can look beyond a catering hall(which is beautiful-don't get me wrong!) and check out some unusual places you can save alot of money and still have a great wedding! My caterer is Corinne's Concepts in Huntington. Had a tasting for $25 per person, as many people as you need to bring! The food was delish-try her baby lambchops! There are lofts in the city (I think I looked at all of them) and there's a cool barn somewhere in Huntington, I think- to rent. Try www.loftrent.com. you can FM me for more info and prices. You can definitely do a really really nice wedding for less than$100 pp -not including rental of the hall. And be quite chic as well! Good luck!
