Coctail Hour
What are your thoughts about brides attending the cocktail hour? I was always told you shouldn't let your guests see you before the formal introduction

We are paying for it, so we will be attending it :) We are planning to take pictures before the ceremony so we can enjoy cocktail hour with our friends and families, It is the ideal time to make sure you get to see everyone and thank them for attending.

I'm letting my bridal party attend but I don't necessarily want to attend my CH. I think it's a cool idea to attend for those who want to. I just know I will never really fully enjoy it my guests will stop me every minute and I'm allllllllll about FOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDD lol.

We are definitely attending our cocktail hour! We have an extended cocktail hour just for the simple fact that we want to be there. We probably won't be there the whole time, but definitely the majority of it. This way we can have some of the awesome food, and try and talk to as many people as possible. Once we are in the reception my butt will be in party mode. I want to make sure I talk to everyone before I start dancing, once I'm on the dance floor I am not coming off! lol

We are going to ours too. With a 175 minimum we want extra time to say hi & thank people for coming so we have more time to enjoy the reception. Hopefully we can eat some food too but the bridal attendant will bring some in the bridal suite before we go to CH

Yeah that's why I'm not attending I feel like my grand entrance won't be as grand if you saw me 15 minutes prior lol that's just my opinion though. I'm sure attending CH is amazing tho!

My FH and I are extending cocktail hour to 1 1/2 hours so we can take pictures after the ceremony. Then we can make it to part of our cocktail hour and a half. I wouldn't miss it for the world. It's always the best food :) You shouldn't miss it either :)
