Coctail Hour - Long Island Weddings

I think we plan on attending some of our cocktail hour.

one of my best friends was married at the Sand Castle a few years ago.... they have an AMAZING cocktail hour. Make sure they bring you all the good stuff to the bridal suite so you're not missing out

Lol yes I can imagine when I read the menu and showed my mom her response was 'wait are you sure this is just CH?' Lol I definitely jus want some privacy w my FH at that time Im super weird like that anyway something tells me I will just need a moment to take it all in. I feel like cocktail hour is my chance lol.

We are going to ours too. With a 175 minimum we want extra time to say hi & thank people for coming so we have more time to enjoy the reception. Hopefully we can eat some food too but the bridal attendant will bring some in the bridal suite before we go to CH

Im taking pics early to go to my cocktail hour. I want to thank everyone for coming then so that I can actually enjoy my reception and not just say hi to everyone

FH is not the type of person to keep the 'hi thank you so much for coming' short & sweet so if we don't go to CH he would spend the whole night saying hi to everyone. As for me,, 'I just want to dance' to quote Dane cook LOL

We are definitely attending our cocktail hour! We have an extended cocktail hour just for the simple fact that we want to be there. We probably won't be there the whole time, but definitely the majority of it. This way we can have some of the awesome food, and try and talk to as many people as possible. Once we are in the reception my butt will be in party mode. I want to make sure I talk to everyone before I start dancing, once I'm on the dance floor I am not coming off! lol

THIS!!! It was the reason I chose a church wedding with a small break in between, so I could take pictures and attend my cocktail hour@
