code bleu vs. heart and soul

just saw heart and soul play tonite at villa lombardi's.

i loved them, and i brought home a video for my FH to see. of course, he liked code bleu better.

now we can't decide which band to book. i like more pop music, while he is more of a 'earth wind and fire' fan.

how do we solve this?

I have also seen heart and soul as well as Code Bleu. In my opinion, Heart and Soul had better female singers, but I didnt like the male singer from them. They are also $5900 as compared to $4900 for Code Bleu. I would go see The Mystic. They were amazing, much better than Code Bleu. I bet your fiancee would love them too. I couldnt get them, they were already booked for my date, but if I could have I would have booked them. Good Luck!

I thought Code Bleu was by far the most polished band I had heard. Its really a choice based on your preferences. We booked Code Bleu because we wanted more of a clean sound. If you like Pop more, perhaps you should go with someone else.

I really liked Code Bleu also, but they were already booked..sort of..thats a long story in itself..But the bride looking for bands should consider Code Bleu. They were really good.

I have already seen the mystic, and i really like them too, but their sound is not what i am looking for. i think they are a great band to hear in a bar, but not for a wedding. JMHO.

i agree, i think hear and soul's female singers are better than code bleu's, but code bleu's male singers are better than heart and soul's. plus, i think code bleu sounds a little bit more rehearsed than heart and soul. but heart and soul has such great stage presence!!!

would you get angry if some random prson came to your wedding just to listen to the band?

Yes and I would not use a vendor who told someone that they could come to a wedding to hear them play. That is inconsiderate to the bride and groom (they are basically asking them to crash the wedding). Now if this was a large hall and they the person stood in the lobby (NOT in the room) and came well dressed as if they belonged at a wedding - and left after a few minutes I probably would not mind if I didn't know they were there
