Coffee Table, End Table, & Dining Table Woods...

My living room and dining room don't have a wall separating the 2 rooms- it is one big room. I want to get walnut end and coffee tables but my mom is giving me her dining room table- that's a light wood color- similar to sandwashed. I have oak floors throughout the 1st floor with a rug in the living room and I will get a rug for the dining room also. Will it look odd to have 2 extremes of wood in an open space?
