Coindre Hall

Really considering booking Coindre Hall, me and my fiancé are both in love with it. We have seen a couple of other places but feel that its the one. Can anyone share any past experiences? As a bride or guest?

Coindre Hall - Long Island Weddings

I have a friend getting married there this October and she raved about it, so I checked it out. Absolutely beautiful, I loved everything about it except the separate dancing and dining. That really bugged me.. but if it doesn't bug you, I'd go for it! Such a beautiful place! We're thinking about doing photos there for our engagement shoot.

Re: Coindre Hall

Thanks for the feedback. The separate dinner and dancing doesn't bother me. It really is a great place. We did our engagement photos there too. We got some really great shots out by the water.

Good for you! We loved it, but just couldn't get past that. Did they charge you a site fee to take pics there?

We did them around the property rather than the inside so I'm not sure.

Re: Coindre Hall

FH and I went to a wedding there last April. It was beautiful. The ceremony was held on the front lawn.

When we went up to the house, there were tables on the porch and just inside the doors so you could enjoy cocktail hour inside or out.

They had the hot foods and more tables and chairs in the room to the left as you enter. In the room just off and a little behind the entry way they had the cold foods and a small bar.

The room to the right is where the DJ/Band set up, all the dancing was held there.

The long room at the back of the house was where the dining for reception was held. The ONLY thing we didn't like about it was, the DJ had set up a speaker in there. Our table was in the middle of the room, and the DJ/Band was So loud they didn't need the speaker there.

The place was beautiful, food was good, the service was good and the music was good, other than the a fore mentioned speaker, a great time was had by all.

Good Luck, and Enjoy the process.

Coindre Hall - Long Island Weddings

I was going to get married here but the two turn offs was the food is not cooked on site and the dancing in the separate room. Some DJ companies also noted to me it was hard getting a good party going with the separate rooms and tv's and speakers were needed for dinning area. I was getting married off peak but was able to neg some perks with john. Email me and I can let you know if you are interested. In the end minus those two issues it would still be my 1st choice, I feel in love with the place!
