I am freezing!!!!! Its always so cold to me and everyone else is always hot so the turn on the fans instead of the heat!!!! Plus I'm sick so I'm really freezing today!

It's been so cold in my office for the past month. Apparently they don't want to pay to have someone fix the vent above my desk so I sit here with a mini space heater, before that it was a scarf and occasionaly gloves.
To get my point across one day I made sure to stand on my desk and stuff the vent with paper so the building maintanence guy could see me. He asked me what i was doing and as nice as I could i said 'your job'. That got the vent shut off for about a week and then it was back to freezing again.
Are you allowed to have a space heater? I got mine from home depot for $15.

But isn't it even more cold when you walk away? I used to us one at my old job and I hated getting up from my desk

YES! i have a heater running at my feet constantly. my hands are always cold, must type more posts to warm them up!
